Report from First Trust Senior Economist
On May 6th, many of you joined us for a breakfast meeting with Mr. Robert Stein, Senior Economist at First Trust Advisors.
Bob Stein served as Assistant Secretary for Economic Policy in the U.S. Treasury Department. Prior to that, he was chief economist for the Senate Budget Committee and economist for the Senate Banking Committee. He also has worked as a journalist for Investor's Business Daily. At First Trust Advisors, Mr. Stein is responsible for forecasting and analyzing economic indicators as well as writing economic commentaries.
Bob gave a lively and enlightening presentation. The discussion that followed was equally enlightening. Thank you to everyone who came and for your challenging and thought-provoking questions and comments.
